Amphibian
Marva Mor
How much of the truth should we be showing to others? Do humans display mimicking behaviors similar to those commonly seen in animals and plants?
"Amphibian" is a kind of diorama: a frozen, deconstructed moment. The subjects depicted in it were inspired by real species that adopt a "second identity," distorting reality for the sake of survival or reproduction.
The human brain also twists the truth as a defense mechanism: we rewrite memories and reshape them to serve us in coping with the reality of our lives, altering the narrative for our well-being.
Do humans have the right to shuffle the deck and reinvent their own identities—or are those who do this fakers and phonies?
