Fragility
Ibraheem Rajabi
Careful! Don’t break anything! This is exactly how Ibraheem Rajabi felt every time he entered his father's studio as a child. During his studies, Rajabi discovered that fiberglass, a material most often associated with its industrial uses, had potential as an artistic medium. Rajabi then developed a new technique that expanded these artistic possibilities. The results are deceptive: at first glance, they appear soft, like textiles, but in reality, the sculptures are fragile and brittle. They could shatter at the slightest movement or even at a gust of wind.
