What does that cloud look like to you?
“A Piece of Heaven” is a soft textile sculpture that offers the viewer a piece of cloudy sky—a cloud made of spheres structured in ways we recognize from other natural elements. Made out of fabric, the cloud is cut, sewn, and inflated with air. It takes up most of the gallery space but leaves enough room to walk around it, get closer, and, for a moment, even touch the sky.
